Our Mission
The vision of the San Juan Hills Academic Foundation is to ensure all students of San Juan Hills High School can achieve their maximum academic potential!
Our Programs Goals
How Donations Are Spent
The Foundation Board funds areas that support academic excellence and enhance the educational experience for the students of San Juan Hills High School, which include the below areas in addition to special projects and requests related to our Mission and Goals. We thank our community for supporting these important endeavors.
Student Scholarships
The Foundation seeks to ensure the academic pursuits of students are not inhibited by a lack of required resources. We consider support to 11th and 12th grade students striving to advance their academic accomplishments in and out of the classroom.
Academic Enrichment
The Foundation believes that providing the tools and resources required to excel, is foundational to engagement and excellence. The Foundation considers requests from teachers, faculty, and students for funding related to classroom resources that are not funded via the district budgetary process. These can include clubs, field trips, guest speakers, workshops, etc.
College and Career Support and Programming
The Foundation aspires to facilitate the transition from High School to the next chapter in the lives of all SJHHS students. We support additional AP testing preparation, career panels from the professionals in our community and work in conjunction with the SJHHS College and Career Center faculty.
Faculty Professional Development
The Foundation supports teachers striving to grow their skills, expand their craft and innovate what they can bring to their classroom and students. The Foundation considers requests to help fund educational professional development opportunities that are not already supported by our district budget and that directly support academic excellence for San Juan Hills High School students.
Act as if what you do makes a difference. It does.
